I’m going crazy
Being a parent is hard, I knew that going into this. Being first time parents is hard, we have no idea what we’re doing but we’re learning along the way. However, my 1 month old daughter will not sleep unless she’s in our bed or in someone’s arms.
Even then, she’s not great at staying asleep. She gets really fussy, and she’ll cry and when she starts that it’s hard to get her to stop. We try changing, feeding, talking to her but nothing works. She has a nuk she uses, but it’s constantly falling out of her mouth and when that happens she FREAKS out. She’ll scratch and scream and when we try to put it in her mouth right after it happens she’s swatting it away even though it’s the reason she’s crying.
When we do get her to sleep in the pack and play, we either set her down and she’s immediately awake or she wakes up a half hour later and is up for the next two and a half hours SCREAMING. We can get her to calm down with the nuk but the second it falls out it’s world war 2.
We’ve tried swaddling, routines, noise machine and nothing works.
I miss my bed, I miss sleep, someone please give me some advice 😞
