There's no right or wrong as long as both are happy in the situation.
My boyfriend and I tried on the third date but I wasn't ready, and he wasnt really either. Fourth we did and that was the right time for us.

Depends.
If it’s a fling then I think a girl should wait about 2-3 dates just to give it some time but not too much time
If it’s a more serious thing then def more than 5 dates.

How about not putting a number on it.  That creates pressure.  When you are both ready for your own reason, and you both want to, then do your thing.
I could wait 2 dates with one person and 10 with the next.  Granted I'm married so not so much for me, but...

Marriage... but I know that's not what most people do, so I would say until u trust the person. So it depends a lot on how much time u spend with the person, but I feel like 6 months to a year is a good time frame.
