Baby shower?

I live in a different state than my whole family so my mom is planning to throw me a baby shower in march and ill be 26 weeks by then. Is it too early?

I say there’s no such thing as too early after you’ve reached the half way mark!  I’ll be 28 weeks for mine because I’m in a similar situation with family and I also wanted plenty of time to return, exchange, and save for things I still needed to get!

It’s never too early. Any time before 9 months is fine! 
Hell, soon as u get a bump, so one! There are no set rules, society just makes u believe u have to do things a certain way. Do whatever u please!

I’m in the same situation and I’ll be having my shower around then as well. I think I’d feel a lot more comfortable traveling by plane before I reach 30 weeks. I also think everyone will understand why it’s earlier than usual. Enjoy!
