Has anyone purchased bottle sterilizer?

Is worth it? Useful? And most of all, actually necessary?

Not worth it or necessary. Can easily get the bags you put in the microwave or pot of boiling water. I’ll be honest I didn’t sterilize anything after the first time. And I only did it because I bought the bottles and stuff used   Just washed with soapy water

I just boil water on the stove and put bottles and nipples in that and works just as good.

I got one off my registry at my baby shower and returned it. Nothing hot water, bottle soap and the bottle brush can’t handle. It takes seconds to clean a bottle. It’s just another thing taking up space.

I put everything into boiling water before first use and from there if I really felt like it, I booked it or used the microwave. Otherwise Every other time hot water and soap.

I’m really hoping to breastfeed, but we bought a second hand microwave steriliser from facebay , for his dummies and just in case I decide to express . But not entirely necessary I don’t think . A jug and boiling water would probs work the same !

A friend recommend an instant pot to us. It works as a steamer, slower cooker, and sterilizer for bottles, so it's kind of an all in one. We love it so far for cooking and plan to just use that to sterilize bottles.
