Are my pills still affected? Left outside in cold temperatures

I accidentally left my combination pills in my car last night 🤦🤦  I live in the Midwest(supposed to be in -20s by tonight)  I got told that the temperatures can cause them to be less effective but it's mostly with hot temperatures. Is that true? Or can it also be affected by cold temperatures. I thought I should ask since I have a problem with anxiety

There should be some information on your pill packet. I know mine aren’t effective if they’re left more than 2 hours in heat hotter than 75° and colder than 50° (somewhere around there I’m just estimating). But if you’re worried I would search your type online and go the website to find information on it if you can’t on your packet. If you can’t or if the temperature that cold has affected them, call your doctor!
