I'm really scared to labor but really, any advice?

Really I'm so freaking scared sometimes I think I can do it and I will turn 36 w. 😭😭😭😭

I second hypnobabies. Fear will make things more intense for you.. try to address those fears immediately. Women are capable of having painless births... in many ways it is a mental game. The contractions are like waves- the build until they hit a sharp climax and then slowly return to normal. You will have breaks in between until transition and by then your body will take over. Trust your body.
My main tips are:
Breathe easy through contractions and have a few mantras you can repeat during each one. 
In between contractions try to smile and relax and remind yourself that each wave is bringing you closer to your baby.
Move around as much as possible and drink water. Dehydration will make things more intense than they need to be.
Stay at home as long as possible because you will be most comfortable in that environment. Watch a funny show or listen to music. Take a bath or a walk. 
If you can hire a doula who will do the thinking for you and be your advocate at the hospital / birth center.
Remember it won’t last forever and you can do this.

Look into hypnobirthing, it's amazing. Fear will only cause tension which will lead to pain which has a huge effect on birthing and labor. There is a great book by Marie Mongan and you can find videos on YouTube. Your body knows what to do!

I’m a FTM mom so I don’t have my own advice to give but we are in a birthing class that has been really helpful. Our instructor’s advice is to do some exercises (pelvic rocks, squats, kegels, etc) and relaxation techniques and practice them everyday now until you give birth along with learning how labor works and what positions work best. Those things will help prep your body and mind. Your body knows what it’s doing so help your mind cooperate with that. You’ve got this!

I am 100% absolutely positive that when the time comes somehow some way your mind and body work together and you know exactly what to do. This is my 4th child and I am also nervous but I do know that when its go time you are automatically in go time mode it's hard to explain lol good luck mama

I’m pregnant with my second. My first labor and delivery with my son was smooth but long. Everyone is different. It’s really not all that bad and once you hold that baby you forget all of that instantly! It’s so so worth it. Stay in tune with your body, think positive & practice your breathing. 
 I’m pregnant with my daughter (34 weeks) im bringing a diffuser in the deliver room with lavender oil, im making a labor playlist & I’ll have fresh flowers in the room! I’m also limiting visitors! It’s all what you make it girl! Good luck! ❤️

The body is amazing. You will be scared, it’s normal but it’s honestly incredible how your entire body and mind just goes into auto pilot and you just end up in this bubble. You got this mummy!

I’m terrified! I’ve wanted this experience for so long and now that it’s here, I’m so scared. Lol
I know when the time comes, my body will know what to do.

You’ll be fine! I agree that once it’s time you just handle it! This is my second and I’m a bit nervous but clearly we can do this! I had an 18 hour drug free labor last time! Hoping for shorter and easier but we’ll deal with what comes! Just try to stay calm and remember that the pain will pass then you’ll have your sweet babe! Take it one contraction at a time!
