My S/O has been apparently putting together my Vday gift since Christmas, working really hard, and very secretive. Despite me telling him I’d gladly help give him ideas, he refused and told me he wanted to do this on his own.

After like 2 freaking months, I finally got it out of him that he got me a ring and it just so happened to be from a store I’m in LOVE with. Well, one night while we were in bed I was looking through the store showing him things I liked and came across this dainty silver ring with a pink heart shaped diamond center stone. I made a comment about how it was cutesy and reminded me of something a girl would get as her first like “ring present”. He kind of smiled and I realized he had gotten it for me.

Now I think this ring is cute, but I’m also a little worried that 1. It may be to juvenile to wear seriously and 2. That it won’t look good on me.

Of course I’m going to love anything he gets me, and I do like the colour pink. But I’m just so unsure of how the heart is going to look.

Would you wear a heart shaped ring?

Is it tacky or childish?

I don’t want it to look like it came out of a gum machine or like I’m in a juvenile relationship (we’re in our 20’s and pretty serious)

I will say, I LOVE the band, it’s perfect. I’m just unsure about that center stone.
