Early glucose test?

I see a lot of women post about the glucose test etc. but they’re further along around 25 weeks or so. at how many weeks do they usually do it ? My ob has been wanting to do it since I was 16 weeks but I missed the appointment. I have my appointment tomorrow for the glucose but I’ll be 18 weeks Thursday 
Is that early ? Or general time

Usual time is around 26-28 weeks

Sometimes if there are indications such as obesity or history factors they will do one early and repeat it about 28 weeks

I have to do it around 9 weeks because my dad is diabetic.

I did an early one at 20 weeks and will have to do another at 28 weeks because I have a high BMI and family history of diabetes, but my 20 week 1 hour test was good.

I had one immediately at 10 weeks, 18, and 30 bc diabetes runs in my family majorly. 
I also failed the 1 hour with my last but passed the 3, this time I ended up with gestational diabetes
