Early Pregnancy Symptoms on BC Pills?

I’ve been on birth control pills for a little over 7 years, and I’ve always taken them correctly! However, my birth control started acting up with irregular periods and other symptoms. I went to my OBGYN at the end of December, and she prescribed me a new type of birth control pills. Everything was going fine until I started spotting off and on around a week before my period was due. This spotting was on and off for a couple of days. During this time, my breasts were sore, and I never really have any type of breast tenderness before AF comes. Then I felt fine for a while. This week I’ve been feeling off with cold/flu like symptoms (stuffy nose mainly) for two days, frequent urination that started today, and feeling more fatigued than usual. I have literally laid down the majority of today, and I even took a nap and still feel tired. AF is due on Friday. Should I test or could this be side effects from my BC pills?
