Hi ladies,

This is our first pregnancy and just a bit anxious...I wanted to see if anyone else has had similar stories to mine and could shed a little light of what could be possibly going on?

I have PCOS and my husband was linked to abnormal shape sperm, but was in the process of getting them up to shape. My doctor was very positive for us. She began putting me on Metaformin to try out and him on vitamins. Before we could see if everything looked good on his end for our next follow-up appt. We got pregnant!

I recall spotting on the day I was suppose to get my period(1/9) and that was it, just for that day. I noticed I was going on 8 days being late and took 3 pregnancy tests and they all came back positive.(1/17) The next day I scheduled an appt to see my dr and that morning(1/18 ), I started bright red bleeding with some mild cramping. It wasn't spotting more of a very light bleeding. My ob confirmed my pregnancy and mentioned it could be implantation bleeding. She wanted to do bloodwork, as a precaution and wait 2 more weeks to do an ultrasound to find out a due date because she said it seems very early. She also, put me on progesterone 200mg. When bloodwork results came back, she mentioned my hcg levels are rising but not as high as they would like but insists that it's probably because its still early and we'd need to wait for the ultrasound. They are just concerned about the bleeding and they it's looking like an abnormal pregnancy.

I am currently going on a week and 5 days of bright red bleeding. No significant clots that I've noticed...maybe very faint red tissues that i've spotted when it first began. The heaviest it's been was maybe 1 day that almost covered a panty liner that happened over this past weekend(1/25). Very mild cramping here and there. I don't seem to have any pregnancy symptoms since I first found out..The bleeding is significantly lighter as of yesterday and it's more of spotting now.

Has anyone had similar experiences? I'm just concerned if i am actually miscarrying or if it's something else :(
