Thought it was implantation

So I'm 12DPO and I've been spotting for almost 2 days now. Only occasionally when I wipe but I've noticed it went from pink, to brown, to a red color. I really thought it might be implantation due to the fact I absolutely never spot before my period. But it looks like AF is just slowly showing up I guess 💔
