Has any on had there cervix stretched??

Question

So I am at 3cm now for 2 weeks the nurse says she can stretch me to 5cm and that will help induce  labor and at 5cm they will admit me. I am kinda nervous to do so. With my last kid I was stretched just a little bit but not 3 to 5 haha has any one had this done??

Mine was stretched from 1 to almost 4. Holy Hannah it hurt! She did it to see if I was close enough to be induced at the hospital though, which I was and had a 4.5 hour labor (including pushing) 😅

That sounds terrible. I'm trying lots to do it myself but having someone actually stretch it  sounds so painful

Midwife stretched me without permission. I was 3cm before she did it and I gave birth 3 hours later. My contractions got very strong and my baby was getting distressed with each contraction. I don’t know if that made any difference but I won’t be allowing it to be done again

Just curious but how the hell do they stretch your cervix...?
