I experience anxiety problems and they have gotten worse with age. After my miscarriage in August and the subsequent months of ttc, I decided to start going to therapy. My anxiety has been so bad that I'm unable to stop stressing and it usually triggers depression. I have only been to 3 sessions so far but my therapist feels that I might need anti-anxiety meds before therapy can even be helpful. Logically I know we are both young, we haven't even been trying for a year, etc but when my panic attacks hit I am unable to believe any of that. Once my panic attacks start it will effect me for hours sometimes even days. My husband was 12 when his dad past and did therapy and anti-depressants and they didn't benefit him, so he is VERY against me taking anything. But I am overwhelmed with the rapid highs and lows each month and the panic attacks hitting out of nowhere and ruining my day. I don't know what to do, or how to explain to him in a way he might get it. I don't want to go one meds while ttc (yes I know there are some that are safe to take while pregnant), but at the same time I don't think ttc will go any better without them. I would appreciate any help, opinion, suggestions, whatever you can give me.
