8month old moaning in sleep and only sleeps two hours at a time

My LO will be 8 months tomorrow. He’s never been a great sleeper. Hes BF and has solids twice a day. He doesn’t sleep longer than two hours at a time. His room is dark and he has a sound machine. He goes to bed around 730 and is up by 9. Sometimes he’ll sleep until 11pm but it’s usually 9. Then he wants to nurse for 5 minutes and fall asleep but if I lay him in his crib he wakes up and cries until I put him in bed with me. I’m exhausted so I’ll let him sleep with me but then he Moans in his sleep all night like he’s uncomfortable. I try to change him, I try to nurse him, sometimes repositioning helps for a little bit but idk what to do. I’m so tired and just need sleep😴😩
