Miscarriage

Today I am 5 wks...... had brown spotting once when I went to the bathroom. Due to prior miscarriage 16yrs ago I immediately went to the ER. I had blood work that showed my hormone leves were high,about what you would see at 6/7 weeks. The sonogram did not show a heartbeat as they would expect with the measurment and hormone levels. I was basicly told this was not a vialble pregnancy and needed to have my levels amd amd another ultrasound in a few days to confirm..... has this ever happened to anyone?
