IUD Removal?

Wasn’t sure if i should post in this group or not. I got my Mirena IUD removed December 18. I had some bleeding December 20-25. Nothing heavy, just light spotting. I haven’t had a period since. I’ve taken pregnancy tests and they’ve been negative. Has anyone else been in this situation? I talked to my healthcare provider and she said it can take ~3 months for periods to normalize after the IUD removal. Just wanted to hear some actual experiences.

I bled super heavy (like heavier than any period I’d ever had before) for 9 days a week or so after removal. Got pregnant a few weeks later so can’t speak to regulation after hormone withdrawal bleeding, but my Ob said the same thing. I got my iud removed November of 2018. Bled for two weeks straight, then had a 6 day period in December, and haven’t got a period this month. No symptoms, and negative hpt’s. Guess we just need more time to regulate 🤷🏻‍♀️
