Work and periods?

Question

I’m only 17 so this is the first time I’ve had to work while on my period. I have the copper IUD and my periods are extremely heavy and I get horrible cramps. I work 8-9 hour days 5-7 days in a row 
Im really worried about working while on my period because I bleed through a regular tampon in about 2 and a half hours and nothing helps with my cramps. I’ve tried everything. Do you guys have any tips?

I get really bad cramps, so much sometimes that I have had to go to the ER to call them down. I found some pills that have helped me a lot. They are called “pamprin.” I take 2 right as soon as I get that first cramp or even before sometimes. I also make sure I am very warm specially on my back, so I’m always wearing warm sweaters (even in summer). And I drink chamomile tea, it helps with the bloating. As of for the bleeding through, I suggest wearing a pad in addition to your tampon. That way, if you don’t have a small break every 2 hours, you’ll have back up if you bleed through.
