You can always lactate again. There's women our there who can do it without even being pregnant. I saw one woman who worked on it before she adopted a new born baby. It's a lot of heard work for you and the baby but worth it if you're committed and determined.

I’ve heard of women successfully relactating. It depends on whether or not your baby is interested in breastfeeding still. I stopped at 8 months... tried again a week or two later and he wouldn’t even put his mouth on my breast. It’s like he forgot what to do completely. Every baby is different though.
