Umbilical cord??

My son is 11 days old and an edged of his cord kind of lifted and it’s freaking me out 😰😰😰 I know it should come off soon but with my first it was just in his diaper one day I don’t remember it ever being loose. I’m just really worried that maybe his shirt pulled on it or something while I was changing him and that it’s too early ☹️☹️☹️☹️ how old are yours and what are their cords looking like or how did they come off?

My son’s came off like that around 6-7 days. It was dried up and hanging off a bit and then fell off that same day or the next day

My firsts came off in 3 weeks but they told us to use alcohol on it back then. Now they told us to do nothing, he is 11 days old and I’m having the same thing going on where half is loose and it’s weird! Haha. Google says average falls off in 2 weeks 🤷🏻‍♀️

My boys fell off at 10 days, the next day it was black again from blood, but that came off the next day. His belly button looks great now, we got the OK to give him a bath by his pediatrician.
