How much does your bump go down after birth?

I know it doesn’t disappear but I only ask because I have pyjamas for the hospital after birth and they are a little tight and I have 4 weeks before I’m due so I just wonder if they will even fit me after I have my baby 😂!

The general rule is to pack clothes that fit you in your 2nd trimester, and bring a nightgown or loose fitting sweats in case you end up with a c-section.

Excuse the pics because I look horrendous but the first pic is the day I went into hospital to be induced, the second pic is about 12 hours following the birth. I definitely still had a tummy but it was way softer

It really depends on your body, after I gave birth my stomach was completely flat just abit of stretched out skin.

It depends on the person. I’d bring stuff that is stretch enough to fit you when you go in and leave. I doubt you’ll want to wear anything that’s tight for awhile.

I did not look pregnant after delivery. I looked the same as I did at about 12 weeks ... I carried my daughter in my back and did not get very big. Most of my belly was water.

do you know about the uterus massages after delivery and for weeks after? 😣 also, it takes about 4 weeks for the uterus to contract back to its normal size. Youll still look pregs after delivery

Probably about half the size. I still looked 4-5 months pregnant
