PGS testing?

Did any of you do PGS testing? Do you think it’s worth it? My husband and I are 34 and have unexplained infertility. If you did the testing, how many normal embryos did you end up with?

I’m 34, my husband is 33. We did PGS testing, after having 9 embryos make it to day 5 blasts. Out of the 9, there were 8 of them that came out healthy. This was our first round of IVF. We transferred 1, and am currently 18 weeks. Good luck on your journey. 💛

Yes, yes, yes. We had a total of 4 blast. We did a fresh transfer with a great looking embryo (the best we had), it implanted well but I m/c at 15 weeks due to chromosomal abnormality. We were devastated and decided to test all remaining embryos. They were all normal and I am now almost 8 weeks pregnant. What I learned from this experience is that looks are deceiving and we need to take advantage of all tech available, if possible.

We tested 10 day 5 embryos and had 6 come back normal. So grateful we did the testing!

I'm 21. We did not pgs our 5 day blastocysts.  The doctor didn't recommend it because of how young I am.  First round failed,  I'm currently 5 weeks from our second round.

I’m 29 and also unexplained. I’m currently on birth control and starting meds on 2/16. We decided not to do It. My doctor didn’t recommend It and also there is a chance the embryo could show its abnormal but really be okay in the end. That’s why we chose not to do It but everyone feels different about It.

My doctor said that the embryologist can often see problems without actually doing the testing, so she didn’t think we needed it. One failed transfer and a miscarriage later, we’re going to test the remaining embryos to see if that explains something. Good luck to you!!!

We tested 10 5 or 6 day blasts and 7 ended up pgs normal. 
I’m 100% glad we did it. I’ve had one miscarriage, which is one too many and would do ANYTHING to lower that risk.

I'm currently waiting the results of the PGS testing.  I have 5 embrobabies being tested and I believe statistically my nurse said 35% will be abnormal at my age (35). Our insurance didnt cover the testing but we decided to go ahead for a couple of reasons.
