Hi everyone!

I am just so frustrated! My husband and I have married for over 2 years, and together for a total of 10 years.

A little background: We have been TTC since December 2016 and have not had any luck.We were eventually referred over to an infertility specialist and almost all of our testing came back normal with the exception of me having a cyst that size of a golf ball in my left ovary( no symptoms/pain/discomfort of it either!).

I opted to have the cyst surgically removed as it did not react to the 2 months of birth control the doctor put me on. We also wanted to give Clomid and artificial insemination a try but couldn’t move forward unless the cyst was removed.

On January 2nd the cyst was removed and I got my my period right away on the 4th. My hubby and I TTC when I ovulated this month and now I am waiting to start my next cycle (crossing my fingers AF doesn’t show up).

I kept the surgery a private matter to extended family but coming from big families, we are both constantly grilled as to when we will have a baby and it’s been too long. Little do they know, all the appointments and efforts we have made and gone through.

This past Sunday, my husband’s older cousin asked when we were gonna have a baby and when we told her, it’s all based on when God wants to give us one, she had the nerve to tell my husband that he was covering up for me and that I’m just a “flojera” which means lazy in Spanish.

My husband then responded and told her if it came that easy to us, doesn’t she think we would have 1, even 2 kids by this point?? I was speechless. I just looked at her and we left a few moments after.

I am just frustrated and tired of this waiting game. I am tired of insensitive remarks by friends and family. I am tired of being bombarded by recommendations, pills to try, positions, etc, etc. by family and friends who know about my infertility issues.I just want us to have good news and I want us to be the ones who see BFP for once.

Any other ladies out there dealing with insensitive remarks too??
