Clear blue digital question...

If I’m mainly using opk strip cheapies and get a positive, can I use clear blue digital (NOT advanced) just once or twice to confirm? I’ve heard you have to use them consistently for them to record your base line? Or is that just the advanced? I have 10 sticks, can I just use when I need them? I’m very confused. My CBD was negative morning after my positive opk strip
