I have a 4 month old who started daycare about 3 weeks ago. When i pick him up, he isn’t happy or excited to see me. I brought it up to his pediatrician, and she wasn’t necessarily concerned but kind of surprised. Sometimes he will smile when he sees me, but usually he just looks at me like he doesn’t even know who I am😔. Once we get home, he seems happy And smiles at me, but I just don’t get why after not seeing me all day he has no reaction when I finally pick him up. I know it’s probably not “normal” for him to not have a reaction but has this ever happened to anyone else? It’s heartbreaking and I am concerned there could be something wrong.
