Potty training with carpet? 🥴 No pull-ups?

I know they say the best/fastest way to potty train is to skip pull ups and just use underwear or go bottomless.

But what about if you have all carpet? I know there will be many accidents especially in the first week but I can’t have urine all over my house. I also have a baby that will be crawling soon on these carpets

Help!

I used Pull Ups,urine is extremely hard to get out and it's just unsanitary.

i’m pretty sure places like walmart or target sell beginners underwear and it has extra cloth padding to avoid a huge mess, that’s what i used in the beginning

Invest in a steam cleaner.

I don’t know if they have them still but with my son he used pull ups that got cold when he peed, he HATED the feeling, two times and he realized why he got uncomfortable. He peed in the toilet the next time!

Use pull ups but treat it like underwear. Make him sit on the toilet every hour for 5-10mins.

Hang out in the kitchen. Tough, but can be done.
