Trying to figure myself out???

Question

Hey y’all. Reaching out in hopes of some help. I always assumed I was straight cause I was raised in a very Christian, conservative area where girls marry boys. Now that I’m older and have tried dating, I’m not sure. But I don’t think I’m gay or bi either? I have been trying to figure out if I may be aromantic or asexual. It’s really confusing and hard to not know who I am.
Any suggestions/help? 😞 Thanks.

i think you should try joining some asexual or aromantic groups in your area. as an asexual and grey-aromantic person ive found that talking to people who feel the same way has really helped me. if there arent any irl groups around, online groups work just as well!
whatever labels you choose to use (or not use), it all comes down to what you're comfortable with. you dont need to be in a relationship regardless of whether or not you're aromantic, so dont try to force it
