What would you do?

If your significant other wasn't as pro-life as you are what would you do?

Answer

It would depend on the circumstance.. I would want to know why they feel the way they do, or how they made up their mind. Many men who claim to be pro choice don’t think abortion is OK, but have been told that any lack of support for it means they don’t support women or equality... this is just a product of the media and the toxic side of feminism that suggests there is only one way a person can think if they support women 🙄 I would want the men in my life to know that their view on what abortion is, is a valid opinion that they are allowed to have even though they can’t physically be pregnant.
If he was suggesting I get an abortion myself because being a father isn’t on his agenda, he would be out of my life... luckily my husband had not ever been of that point of view. I got unexpectedly pregnant with our first child while we were planning our wedding, and he was onboard immediately even though I was temporarily freaking out 😂... I would have never gotten an abortion, but I was definitely more afraid to become a parent then he was.

So my fiancé and I have been together for four years now and have two kids together. I used to be pro choice but now am 100% pro life. I just don’t say anything about it and change the subject if abortion comes up. He is very strongly pro choice and I understand his reasoning, I disagree with him but I’m not in the mood to fight about it.

My husband says he is pro-choice because he’s a libertarian, but his viewpoint is very much ‘if you can live with yourself after doing a horrible thing (any horrible thing), than you may as well do it.’  I personally believe abortion should be completely illegal.  But my husband would never, ever want us to get an abortion, even in the most extreme cases.  And he would never want or encourage our children to get abortions.  That’s how I’m able to have a different belief on the legality of the matter, because I know he and I will always be on the same side if a friend or family member approached us and was considering abortion.

Try and have a discussion about it and find out why they aren’t fully pro life.
