Just Between Friends Events worth it?

Has anyone ever attended a Just Between Friends trade show? I’m a first time mom and am wondering if anyone has ever gone - positives and negatives.

I think it was overpriced, I find better things at thrift stores!

We don’t have that one but we have what’s called something like posh baby trade where my family lives. It’s HIGH END clothes, gear, strollers, cribs, etc that are barely used for dirt cheap. I’m talking a brand new mamaroo still in the box for $25... $800 cribs for $100... like it’s CRAZY my sisters go to it every year. Since their kids are a year older than my son I, as well as my cousin, and friends get an unnecessary large amount of clothes 😂I’m talking three large trash bags full of just one size clothes. If it’s anything like that I would highly suggest going.

I plan on going in April when they have it where I live ! Never been before but I always heard good things about it

It’s hit and miss. They’re basically franchised out so it depends on how it’s run. One of the sales near me started a “prime time shopping” thing where you pay $10 and get in before the general public. By the time that’s done all the good stuff is picked over. There can be good deals depending on how people price their items. JBF takes 30% or so off the top so a lot of people overprice to compensate for that.

The one in my town is MASSIVE and they inspect everything for stains or tears so I find really awesome deals there.
