Sex after miscarriage?

This might be a weird question but my doctor didn’t say anything to me. Are you supposed to wait a certain amount of time before having sex after a miscarriage?

Wait until the bleeding has totally stopped cause otherwise there is a high risk of infection. This is what I got told, I lost my baby @ 15 weeks xx

I had a d&c and was supposed to wait 2 weeks but we had intercourse 4 days later. 🤷🏽‍♀️ just depends how youre feeling.

I had a miscarriage early January and like you, I wasn’t advised about having sex. I waited a couple of weeks to ensure I had 100% stopped bleeding and didn’t want to cause infection. I realised though that although sex is great just having your partner with you during this time is the best thing you can ask for! 
I would also say, just do it when you’re ready and don’t put any pressure on yourself as your body has just gone through a lot - you’ll know when the time is right x

I waited 3 weeks. I was sore after my mc as they did internal scans etc 😔 xxx
