Looks like a localized inflammatory reaction to the injection, I would likely make an appointment as a cutaneous infection may spread into a cellulitis..easily treatable but wouldn’t hurt to have it peeked at

My daughter had a reaction to varicella exactly 10 days after injection. Looked just like this! We saw her pediatrician right away, and used hydrocortisone cream and an antibiotic ointment for 5 days since it looked like the beginning of cellulitis to her doctor. It's been a few weeks since, and you can't see anything now. It did look like a bruise for about a week after treatment, too. Hopefully he's feeling better!

This is a little late but I finally remembered to take a pic of my daughters leg after 2 weeks it's still there but super faded now. I hope the docs gave you some reassurance if you talked to them already 😁

My daughter has this. In week 2 and it's finally starting to fade. Doc said as long as it's not swelling it's normal
