Tonight, after months of problems, I left my husband. I'm not sure if I'm going back. Due 2/22 so she could come any day now. Would you allow your verbally/emotionally abusive husband/SO in the delivery room?

You don’t need that kind of stress during your delivery! Protect yourself and your head space. Also....I believe in positive vibes around the baby. You don’t want the baby being born into a hostile/tense environment.

I think there’s always two sides of the story, for what I read from a previous post from you it seems to be problems from both sides! Think about it, no body has a perfect relationship, and I don’t live In your house but the child inside you comes from both of you! He should have the same right as you to be there for his baby!

I think you should take the opportunity to make this about you and your baby. My SILs husband wasn’t there for the birth of their third and she said it was her fav birth because she focused on her baby and they got to bond alone the whole time. It’s time for you to be selfish ♥️

You will only give birth to that child once. If the man wants to be there to see his baby I would let him because its some men out here who dont even do that. Now, that ia in NO way excusing his behavior. He needs to respect you while he is there.

I would only because that moment can’t be done over. It’s about the baby being born and it’s his child as well. Now if he said ugly things about the baby or birth then no. But if it’s just problems between the two of you I would allow him to be there for the birth but still go your separate ways.
