My husband is joining the army in hopes that his mos will be 19k m1 armor crewman, when he first told me and asked how I felt about it, I of course said what, and then after some explanation as to what the job entails and how long he’d join (3 years and 17 weeks(for training)) I felt okay with his decision because before we’d been talking about a possible 8 month training with a 4 year sign, so my thoughts all together have been happier with the change in possible time apart being shorter. From his previous mos options I’ve had time to research each job and finding other wives with husbands who have that mos to see how things have been for them, what to expect with where they go and how deployments went, BUT I can’t seem to find anything about anything when it comes to wives or girlfriends or s.o with a partner in 19k crewman. If you or anyone you know is or has been in this position, please help a girl put her mind to ease! Tell me the good and the bad!
