1 coupon per purchase?

Does 1 coupon per purchase mean per item or everything? Because i have $5.00 coupons for enfamil products and i know i can't use multiple on one item but what if i grabbed multiple of the same item and wanted to put a coupon for each item? Can i do that? Or can i legit only use 1 coupon no matter how many products i have?

One coupon per purchase means one per item. The single item is the purchase.You cannot out two manufacturer coupons on 1 item. You cannot use 1 manf coupon on multiple items. You nees one for each item. You can combine the manf coupon witha  store coupon unless either coupon says otherwise. That's stacking. 
Coupons often say how many per day or per ahoppong trip as well. For example 2 per day if it's Proctor and Gamble. So you could purchase 2 jugs of Tide and use two manf coupons. You could also use 2 store coupons if your store offers them.

When you check out, whether with 1 or multiple purchases that is a transaction. These aren't coupons but checks so you can use them in 1 transaction as long as the cashier is willing to.

Everything. However, some places allow you to make several transactions. Sometimes you can beat the system and apply your coupons in the same day, just different transactions

It is most likely going to be at the discretion of the store you shop at. If the system won’t let the cashier use more than one then you can ask them to do separate transactions so that you can use the coupons on separate purchases.
