Prenatal pills ??

I’m currently taking Plnt Prenatal multivitamin and my nutritionist says I should take Omega 3 Nordic naturals Prenatal DHA ... my question is do I stop my current pills or can I take both ??

I was told to take both because most prenatal don’t have DHA and that’s beneficial to the baby’s development. The DHA prenatal literally will only have the DHA vitamins not any of the normal ones a regular prenatal will have

I think you probably take the Omega/DHA as well as the normal pre-natal tablets but I would check with your doctor or a pharmacist. I take the Omega ones on top of my usual ones. It’s a good recommendation as most people are DHA deficient and it’s very important for brain and general development :) x

Take both. The Plnt prenatal is your basic prenatal containing the most important vitamins for your baby, but it doesn’t contain DHA. The DHA vitamin is a separate vitamin for your baby’s brain health. Some prenatals already contain DHA, but yours doesn’t which is why it was suggested for you to take it.
Also, it looks like your prenatal is a vegetarian prenatal, so I just thought I’d mention there are vegetarian DHA pills available as well if you don’t want to take one with fish oil. Just do a google search for “vegetarian DHA” and you’ll get a bunch of options made of algae or seaweed instead of anchovies or sardines.

U take both. Dha isn’t prenatal, it’s just the omega 3s needed. I take the Nordic naturals dha WITH a prenatal
