Getting mood swings on Mirena?

Used to get very angry or sad before my period, heard from some people that after getting an IUD they stopped having mood swings and even helped with depression!
I feel the same as before getting Mirena (this is my 4th month)
But my periods are all over the place, so my mood is pretty unpredictable now haha
Tell me your experience!

I’ve had my mirena for over 3 years now, and it took me about 6 months before my moods and periods evened out and became more regular. For majority of my time with mirena my moods were fairly stable and my periods were non-existent. I think my body just needed to adjust in those first few months.

I’m very emotional after my mirena! Never used to be, now I can cry at just about anything!

I got my very first IUD inserted on the 17th. It was so painful... I'm hoping I don't get mood swings/worsening depression.
