Are name cards for place settings a good idea for a large family holiday dinner?

I’m hosting Easter dinner for 12 people including my family and my husband’s family.

My kids love to make them and family think it's super cute. But anyone can move spots if they want I don't care. It's just fun and cute.

My family is all very artistic so my dad and my aunt would make these pretty placards for everyone at thanksgiving. If we needed to change something around it’s no big deal.

We always do cute place cards for all the big holiday dinners. For thanksgiving last year we didn’t do it and everyone didn’t know where to sit and said they missed them lol!

Personally I would be pissed if I showed up for a family dinner and saw name cards. At weddings and stuff it's obviously needed but no way at a family dinner unless your family dinner has like 60 people.
