Are the Uppababy strollers worth the extra money?

Or is the difference between the uppababy and other strollers so minimal that it doesnt matter?

They’re considered luxury strollers so you get what you pay for when it comes to luxurious features. There are definitely cheaper options, though. If you’re looking at the Uppababy Vista and you’re looking for a double stroller there’s the City Select, Joovy Qool, etc that all have good functionality, but just aren’t quite as luxurious. If you’re looking at the Uppababy Cruz then I’d say there are definitely cheaper strollers that are just as good, like the City Mini GT. We have the Uppababy Minu and although I love it I’d say my Zoe travel stroller is just as good and it only cost $150 instead of the $400 I paid for my Minu. 
Bottom line, if you’re comparing Uppababy to a brand like Graco or Baby Trend then yes the difference is like night and day, but if you’re comparing it to a sturdy brand like Baby Jogger or BOB then the Uppababy isn’t really any better.

I was so torn between the uppa baby vista and the Baby jogger city select lux. I love the uppa baby and REALLY wanted it. but using them both in person, I realized IMO the uppa baby really doesn’t have $300 worth of EXTRA features to justify the higher cost. We went with the lux, and the 20% off coupon at buy buy baby so it’s really abt $400 cheaper than the uppa baby.

I compared the Uppababy Vista and City Select and bottom line was...not much of a difference. The Uppababy does come with a lot of add ins that the City Select doesn’t, but to me they seemed so similar it didn’t seem worth the extra money.

I played around with both and decided to get the City jogger and I’ve been stuck with them since, I choose the City Select double stroller once I had my 2nd child! The uppa baby didn’t have what I loved with the city! I would try all your options out :)

I like my Vista stroller. It is a very smooth ride, but it is very heavy. It cost a lot, but I got it during some rewards specials at Bloomingdale’s......spending around $1200 for a Vista and Mesa (which I would get a Nuna Pipa instead of a Mesa if I were to do it again), I ended up getting back around $300 in rewards dollars, which paid for a Stokke Tripp Trapp high chair bundle with all the baby accessories.

All my friends have the Uppababy and love it but I just can’t justify the cost. I’m really considering the Joovy Quol that looks similar to the Vista.

It depends what you’re looking for in a stroller. We want to have baby #2 close in age so we wanted a stroller that could easily convert to a double. 
We bought used, and saved more than half the money.. worth looking into it

I believe the uppababy converts to a double stroller. My city select does that. If you want another baby close in age, it will prevent you from having to buy another travel system
