Sex during ovulation

Hi everyone! I'm very confused by the fact that you shouldn't have sex every day when your ovulating. This morning I tested "peak fertility" with a Solid smiley face, but we had sex last night at midnight. I didn't test yesterday unfortunately. Should I wait until tonite so it's a 24 hour break in between sex, or is really necessary to wait 48 hours? I'm just nervous I will miss my most fertile time.
