Potty training tips anyone?

I have a three year old very stubborn little boy and he has absolutely no interest in potty training.  Id really like to figure out a way to get him interested again.  Expecting  baby 2 in April.  Would love to spend less on diapers and pull ups.   Any tips please!!!

I left my son naked all day (I am a stay at home mom so it was a little easier for me to do that) we did stickers and it helped but it didn't fully work. Then I started giving him one m&m every time he peed and three for a poop and that worked wonders. Believe me there were a lotttt of accidents. I had pee carpets and was constantly cleaning them up and he would even squat and poop on the floor! He more or less started to realize he would get rewarded when he used the bathroom so he started using it more and more! We cheered him on to go and when he did we made a huge deal out of it every time.. Even for pee. We went through a phase where he would have accidents again a few months after he was fully potty for about three days then it stopped. I don't know why but he got a toy taken away for the day every time he did just because I knew he knew better. It's hardddd and you have to be very persistent or else they will know they don't have to and they won't. I still put him in a pull up at night because I don't want to have him laying in it in case he does have an accident but he has never peed in the pull up so that's good! Good luck! One day he will get the hang of it and you will be so glad all the hard worked paid off haha

Boys usually take longer than girls to potty train anyways, but a reward system is a great idea!  I used stickers with my daughter.  She was so proud each time she got a sticker in her sticker book!  But in the end the motivation has to come from him.  He'll do it when he's ready.  But I also did not let my daughter off the hook if she didn't use the potty.  And an accident in the panties meant going back into the diaper for the rest of the day.  She always knew that we would try again the next day.  She didn't want to be a baby in diapers anymore so she really tried hard.  After a while we had more diaper free days than not!  But I always felt you can't ignore the unwanted behavior and just reward the good.  Cause and effect for everything!  Helps them decide which behaviors they want to keep doing!

I'm in the same boat as you and my daughter did very good when she turned just about 18months but then we had to move so we got out of the routine and I thought I could just start again when we were finally settled but still no luck !! She will poop in the potty but she won't pee pee ! And I'm also due in April so I'm hoping we can get there !! Good luck to you !

I let my son go naked as long as possible in the morning. And started a sticker chart. When he pees he gets a sticker and after 7 he gets a toy. Its a basket filled with dollar store toys. He also likes that I let him wash out his potty in the sink after and he have a dance party lop he gets so excited that I'm excited. I ask every hour if he has to pee. I also take him with me when I go pee. Were not even close to finishing with the potty training but he is slowly getting it.
