of course it is admirable if you always squeeze in an exercise routine. But to all the mamas who just survived the day today, then scrolled through social media feeling bombarded by diet fads, photoshop, and extensive fitness routines: try instead to think about everything you did today that made you stronger. 💛

It may not look glamorous and you may not get a “conventional” workout in.

But chances are, when you reflect on your day, you’ll realize that you did so much:

Maybe you took a walk, barely sat down, you carried a baby because they didn’t want to be put down.

Maybe you skipped meals to make their meals, then, shaking with hunger, nursed away what energy remained. Maybe you jumped around playing hide and seek, leapfrog, and tag. You walked upstairs with arms heavy to rock your baby to sleep.

In fact, moms are a special kind of strong!
