How expensive was your labor? I have Cigna

TTC I know I’ll have to pay out of pocket obviously but just curious as to how big the bill for labor/delivery was. Anyone with Cigna PPO?

The bill will very from city to city. I would suggest calling Cigna to see what your deductible, coinsurance and out of pocket maximum is. 
If you will need to meet your deductible. Then you will pay a certain percentage of their allowable amount for services (remember to stay in network for the largest savings). You will continue to pay the percentage of cost until you reach your out of pocket maximum. 
For an example, I have a $500 deductible, 10% coinsurance and $3250 out of pocket maximum. 
If the birth was $45,000. I would pay the first $500, then I would pay 10% of what is left until I paid the maximum of $3250. In this example, I will pay $3,250 as the 10% coinsurance is greater than my out of pocket maximum. 
Normally deductibles and out of pocket maximums all run on the calendar year (1/1 - 12/31) and will reset to 0 every year on 1/1.
If you talk to Cigna they will be able to tell you a better idea of your plan. If prenatal care is covered by a copay or if you need to meet your deductible for that as well.

My plan sucks bc my husband and I own our own businesses and have to get something pretty basic since insurance is so overpriced. So back in 2016 I had to pay the maximum of $6250 for my daughter. But the full amount was around 25-30k so I was definitely ok with the $6k.
