Anyone have any suggestions for helping my 5 month old to nap?

My little girl will be 5 months old in a few days. She’s a (mostly) great night sleeper, but we’ve always had trouble with naps. She’ll go down easily in her bassinet (we have a Snoo) but she wakes after 1 sleep cycle (like 30-45 minutes) and won’t go back to sleep unless she’s on someone. It has always been this way. We’ve tried everything we can think of, from putting her down almost asleep or sleeping, to down and up down and up repeatedly as she cries, to patting her/taking to her/trying to soothe without picking up, to letting her cry it out. Our pediatrician wasn’t available at our 4 month appointment but the doctor who was covering said to let her cry. I don’t like it but it’s fine, but I’ve tried it for several days at a time and she never goes back to sleep- just screams for the last 45 min-an hour until naptime is over. It makes her a lot more fussy as she’s not getting enough sleep. Anyone have any different suggestions that I could try?
