We had protected vaginal sex last night around Midnight when we got home, and I didn’t go pee because I physically didn’t feel the need to. I woke up around 8 and went pee as I normally do whenever I wake up. It burned a little bit I think that’s because I was a little raw by the end of our fuck session. I’ve never had a UTI but I know that you can get one if you don’t pee after sex. What are my chances of getting one and how soon will I know if I have one?

Update: Now I’m confused. I drink a lot of water anyway, so no difference there in the amount I’m peeing. Judging by the comments I’m assuming I’ll know by tomorrow if I have one. It doesn’t burn when I pee but it does hurt a little to wipe (again, I’m 99% sure that’s because I’m still kinda raw). I thought you had to pee after sex to prevent a UTI. Are my chances minimal because we used protection? Do people who get UTI’s get them because they didn’t use protection and because they didn’t pee after? I’m so confused 😂
