Has anyone else gotten their period 7-8 weeks postpartum? I called the doctors office and they told me it couldn’t be a period if I was breastfeeding but that its called breakthrough bleeding? Except this really feels like a period, I’m bleeding not just spotting and I feel cramps on and off.

Has anyone else experienced this? Could it be my period or did you find that it was part of the postpartum bleeding?

I do ebf so I wasn’t expecting a period this soon 😏
