Can’t find babies heart on home fetal doppler!?????

13w 2d Just tried for 15 minutes and couldn’t find it should I go in????? Should i be worried????? My bladder was empty so I’m drinking a ton of water now to push the baby up also I’m on the chubby side could that be making it harder??? Heart was fine 2 days ago at my appointment, it’s a Sonoline B
-please no comments about how they aren’t reccomended😴 I’m aware

Doppler aren’t recommended for home use, they scare the poop out of ladies. I would lay on your left side and maybe call for advice. But maybe stay away from the Doppler, wishing you the best ❣️

No. Relax. There’s a reason you have to use a home Doppler with a grain of salt. You are NOT a medical professional. You are not always going to be able to find the heartbeat.

I think still too early, baby is still very very very small and well hidden inside you. It’s not an easy thing to use even at 37 weeks the docs and midwives can take a minute to find the heartbeat.

It can depend on where your placenta is, baby might be hiding.  Also they are so little at that stage, if baby is all curled up weirdly and close to your back it can be hard to pick up.

I would let your OB handle that so you wouldn’t cause yourself any worry. Heck, at 16w3d, they had to play around for two minutes to find my baby heartbeat, so I know I would pass out if I tried at home and couldn’t find nothing lol.

I couldn’t find my baby’s heartbeat with my Doppler until I was 15 weeks. Stay low and to the middle (that’s how my OB showed me)

Baby may be too small still for you to reliably find it every time with the doppler yourself. I see a lot of women that say they weren't able to find it every time until 16 weeks or more themselves.
