Flu shot?

I know this is such a big question but I was wondering are any  moms not getting the flu shot for their LOs at 6 months?

Mine will be getting hers at her next check up on the 11th. She turned 6 months today.
I plan to because certain people haven’t gotten theirs like her grandmother who refuses .... you can’t trust others to keep your babies healthy

We haven’t gotten it yet and both of us came down with the flus. My baby girl, will be 6 months on the 10th, tested positive for influenza a AND influenza b, BOTH. She has been a really sick baby. She is finally getting better now, 2 weeks later, and now I have one of the flus. Dr said it was really rare to have both and my poor girl did. So, I would definitely recommend getting it if possible.

I’m probably not. We will get it, but she doesn’t go for her 6 month visit til after flu season, and she’s getting all her other vaccines. Not wanting to add an additional shot since she has some trouble with her regular vaccines

Our pediatrician said we might not need it this year, since she’s only eligible late in the season, and the flu has been pretty mild in my region. We may get it anyway since we’ve caught every daycare bug that’s been passed around.

I’m never a big flu shot person. I do bad though. I’m not gonna do it this year but I may next year. Now that my 6 year old is in elementary school she brought home the flu the other day. She was out of school for a week and miserable. Then my 3 year old got it. Luckily Sonie was out on tamiflu so fingers crossed he doesn’t get it. Let me tell you getting your 6 year old to take antibiotics and tamiflu is a freaking nightmare. Shots for everyone next year even if they aren’t 100% effective. I never want to deal with this chaos again. Also hope I don’t contract it.
