We went over to my husband's parents today and had lunch. Everyone was seated and eating already when I walked in with my girl (I was changing her when lunch was ready). I hand her off to my MIL while I go dish up and as I sit down, my FIL goes, "She likes honey!" 😑😬😑😬 I didn't even know he was eating honey! Lunch was beef stew and biscuits. Ugh. We immediately told him they can't have honey before 1 and why. In true, older person fashion - "I don't know how any of you survived!" 🙄. I know it wasn't much - like a dab with his finger so I'm not freaking out yet and I'm going to keep a close eye on her. I don't know when we're probably in the clear and I know a reaction isn't common but still. It makes it hard to feel comfortable leaving her alone with them, until she's older! 🤦 Mostly just venting - thanks for reading!
