What kind of art projects do you do with your toddler?

I’m boring when it comes to art ideas so I just wanted to ask you to show me some of the art projects you do with your toddler. The tot I watch loves art and I want to do something her momma can keep as a keep sake.

When I was a toddler teacher, I bought the kids plain wooden picture frames and let them go crazy with decorating. I wrote their names and the dates on the back and gave them to their parents. I think it's a lot easier for parents to keep their child's art with stuff they can use vs. painting on paper.

Finger paint, coloring,  if you do paint let them have old toilet paper rolls or an old whisk.  You can put the paint in a bag with the paper to.

My 2 year old son is an arts and crafts toddler too. We do a lot of finger painting, stamping, sensory bins, threading pasta or fruit loops for jewelry, salt dough ornaments/ keepsakes, baking (he gets to crack the eggs with help, dump ingredients , and mix), leaf imprints, kinetic sand castles, paper airplanes, shaving cream painting in the tub, tub crayons, holiday crafts, homemade cards, paper plate animals, tape off their name and finger paint, bingo dabbers to make artwork, slime
