Should restaurants and stores be more accommodating to blind people?

Question

A handful of restaurants are accommodating to blind people but most are not. It’s very frustrating when my friends and I have to rely on others to read us the menu so what does everyone else think? Should more places and not just restaurant be more accommodating towards blind people?
There was also an incident where one of my friends was denied entry to a buffet because of her guide dog?

Yes I believe that unless it’s an undue hardship on the business, they should be required to be more ADA friendly than they are currently. It’s not expensive or difficult to keep a few Braille menus and train your employees on the rights of customers with disabilities (and their rights as a business). I HATE that the I have to educate soooo many businesses on the law. It’s easy to find online, it would take all of 10 minutes to educate yourself and your employees. Uneducated businesses is why we have so many fake service dogs that cause issues for real teams. 
For instance, your friend who’s guide dog was denied could have called the department of justice and pressed charges for discrimination since they were denied. Legally, unless the dog is misbehaving, they can NOT deny a service dog, so long as the handler is able to answer the 2 questions as per the ADA (is that a service dog and what service does it provide?)

Your friend was denied entry? Isn’t that illegal? But, yes. I think we should be making a continuous effort to make sure public spaces are accessible and usable.

The things I can think of that would be most helpful would be Braille menus, even flooring, disability toilets, and guide dog accessibility - correct me if I’m wrong though. It should be legal requirements to provide these services and there is literally no excuse not to. There is no excuse to not cater to the visually impaired to make their experience easier for everyone involved. Pretty sure that’s illegal under the 2010 equality act to not provide accessible services in the UK. Also you shouldn’t have to request a Braille menu, it should be as accessible as the other menus

I do yes, I also want to put Braille on money. I’ve seen blind people get scammed because they couldn’t read the amount of money they were holding.

Of course they should be and it goes beyond just throwing Braille everywhere, since majority of people with low to no vision aren’t literate in Braille.
