Weight gain comments

Krystal

This is my fourth pregnancy. In previous ones I've gained anywhere for 40-60 pounds. I also started those pregnancies at a smaller size than I was when I started this one.

I was actually told by several doctors how "over weight" I was and blah blah blah. This will be my third in four years they can all just kiss my.....

Anyways I gained 27 pounds this time. This is far less than I've ever gained. I have about 4 weeks to go but even still I don't think I'll put on 15-20 pounds in four weeks. Well I pray I don't lol.

My family keeps telling me how small I am and how huge I've been in past pregnancies and on and on they go comparing how "huge" I've been in the past. I don't know why but it makes me feel sad and sometimes like a failure like I didn't eat enough or something. Why can't they just keep their big mouths shut!!!

I’ve gained about 40lbs not to mention the fact that I was about 30-40lbs overweight from my ‘ideal’ weight when I got pregnant. But I’ve been really fortunate it’s literally all in my stomach and boobs. People don’t get to shut up about a pregnant woman’s body. This morning (the day of my shower) the first thing out of my mothers mouth was that my face looks puffy... then my grandma greeted me by saying ‘hi chunky’ 🙄 no words

Right!? I literally said ‘maybe you shouldn’t tell the pregnant lady she looks puffy or chunky and then it donned on them that it’s insensitive 🙄

F em! This is your body! You’re doing great and growing a human and they can have whatever opinions they want!If you want, might be good to have a prepared reply to shut people down... what about “I’m busy growing a human and I’m not really interested in your opinions about my body.”

I feel the total opposite. I’ve gained so much weight and I just feel horrible. I feel like I could have done so much better but it is what it is I wouldn’t stress over what the scale says. But as always it’s easier said than done.
